FAMILY CARE TEAM FOUNDATIONS

Family Care Team Foundations Poster

This series of online, self-paced modules and workshops aims to build and support interprofessional collaborative practice in Family Care Teams working in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Family Care Team Foundations will provide training resources in a format that is concise and accessible to meet the needs of care providers from all professional backgrounds.

Modules and workshops in the Family Care Team Foundations program will be released between Fall 2024 and Spring 2026. Professionals can complete the program in any order that fits their interests and schedule. Workshops will be offered regularly in virtual and in-person settings.   

New modules may be introduced in response to feedback from users. Workshops may also be offered and customized for individual Family Care Teams.

The recommended pathway through the Family Care Team Foundations program follows a staged model of team development. Every part of this training program will be designed with direct relevance to Family Care Team practice in mind.
